The Hip Village have established an IPS (industrial provident society) not for profit company made up of supplier members with the aim of providing Cornwall with an exciting new financially sustainable event project.
The Hip Village was and still is being supported by Kabin who promote cooperative solutions and provide well-informed, high quality support to groups and individuals interested in co-operatives.
We expect the first year to be what we call the ‘Beta’ stage where the company will listen to its members and decide the best route to develop the company for 2012.
The Hip Village have secured a license to run the first AGM at Penwarne Farm Falmouth on Saturday October the 8th and the purpose of this event is to trial the co-operative concept of running an event and showcase some of the best music and creative talent in the county.
